The Odem Institute data scientist Bill Shi has started a Seminar in Network Analysis at Carolina (SNAC) series, which features seminars on the third Friday of each month throughout the semester. This series is supported by Carolina Seminars.
The first SNAC lecture of the semester featured Dr. Jessica Cohen from the UNC Department of Psychology and Neuroscience, who spoke about her on-going work on brain networks. Join us this month for another exciting installment! Pizza & drinks will be served.
SNAC was formerly known as the Social Network Analysis at Carolina, a research program founded by our former director Dr. Tom Carsey and Dr. Peter J. Mucha from the UNC Department of Mathematics. The program has since expanded to all kind of fields, and now SNAC affiliates span a wide range of disciplines including Mathematics, Statistics and Operations Research, Psychology, Neuroscience, Education, Information Science, City & Regional Planning, and Computer Science.
