Title: A User Study of the Oura Ring Mobile App
Abstract: Wearable health devices are becoming more and more adopted for a variety of different use cases. Two of the most prevalent are for patient monitoring and fitness tracking. While some research has been done regarding the efficacy of adopting these devices to monitor vitals of at-risk patients in their homes, comparatively little has been done about the user experience (UX) for the cohort of young adults who might use these devices for fitness tracking. This study looks to begin exploring this space so that software can better suit how these users interact with the technology in the future.
