The Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL) is a global research center that works to reduce poverty by ensuring that policy is informed by scientific evidence. J-PAL draws on results from randomized evaluations to answer critical questions in the fight against poverty, and builds relationships with governments, NGOs, and donors to share this knowledge and scale up effective programs.
