If you have ever wondered how to be a more effective editor, or how to become an editor, attend the next SWAC Science Communication Certificate Series event to hear from Lakshmi Goyal, Editor of Cell Host and Microbe.

Goyal has been an editor with Cell Press since 2001 and has many insights to share! Come hear her interactive seminar on how she got her start in editing, what a typical day as an editor looks like, and important lessons she has learned throughout her successful career.

Throughout the spring semester, the UNC Science Writing and Communication Club will host various speakers and workshops through its Science Communication Certificate Series to prepare you for communicating science. You may attend as many or as few events as you would like, but you must attend four of the six events to earn a SWAC Science Communication Certificate.
