i2b2 at UNC logo

Dr. David Gotz and his research team at the Visual Analysis and Communication Lab at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are looking for participants for their study. The purpose of this research study is to examine the usability of the i2b2 website and identify current gaps in the features available to i2b2 users. The results from this study can help inform the design process that can support faster querying and unbiased cohort selection.

You are eligible to participate in the study if:

  • you are at least 21 years of age,
  • you have earned a college degree, and
  • you must have undergone i2b2 training and used the i2b2 interface.

This study is set to last between 45 to 60 minutes, where you will perform a given set of tasks on the i2b2 platform and undergo a semi-structured interview to discuss your experience.

While there is no compensation provided for the successful completion of the study, your time and effort can contribute directly towards shaping the current application, helping us make an impactful contribution to a large set of users.

If you are interested in learning more about this study or signing up to participate, please reach out to spetluru@unc.edu.

Thank you for your time and consideration. We look forward to hearing from you.
