CHIP provides web and email discussion groups through the use of Microsoft Teams with mailing list support for its students, faculty, alumni and groups with an interest in CHIP to support engagement in group discussions and enable the widespread distribution of information such as news, events, internships and job opportunities. Note that Tier 2 or Tier 3 sensitive data should not be stored or processed using CHIP mailing lists. The UNC Information Classification Standard has more details on what constitutes sensitive data.
Our forums are powered by Microsoft Teams. If you are new to Microsoft Teams take a look at the Microsoft Teams Quickstart Guide and the Microsoft Teams Demo: Teams Basics to get a new user introduction to using Teams.
