Application Insights – MPS in BMHI

To help you get started on your MPS application, we are providing some tips on the required materials. For full details on application requirements, refer to the Graduate School website.

Letters of Recommendation. Three letters of recommendation are required, however, you can submit your application prior to all three letters are uploaded. When you start your application, you will provide your recommenders' names with emails. Your recommenders will receive an email directly to upload their letter. The application committee likes to see letters from former instructors and supervisors who can speak to your intellectual capabilities and interest in this area.

Personal Statement. The personal statement should be one to three pages in length. The application committee is looking for applicants who can demonstrate a clear interest in health informatics and how the MPS in BMHI fits into their career goals. The personal statement is also an opportunity for applicants to address weak points in their application as well as highlighting strengths.

Unofficial Transcripts. Copies of your transcripts should be legible and clearly printed. Please include all pages, including definitions and grading scale explanations.

Resume/CV. Your resume/CV can be tailored for this application. Any relevant research, coursework, or work experience should be included.
