Improving Telemedicine with Teleconsent

Dr. Saif Khairat is part of a joint research project between the University of North Carolina (UNC) and the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) that has recently received funding from The National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) to improve the recruitment of participants for clinical trials/studies via the utilization of telemedicine technology.

Two UNC research assistant (RA) positions are currently open starting Fall 2017 for the 2017-2018 duration. The RA is expected to dedicate 20 hours a week towards the project according to UNC academic calendar. Benefits and prorated tuition assistantship is provided.
