Announcing Launch of CHIP Alumni Council

CHIP is excited to announce the launch of the CHIP Alumni Council! The mission of the Carolina Health Informatics Alumni Council is to foster a strong, collaborative community of professionals committed to advancing the field of health informatics. The council will connect alumni through shared knowledge, resources, and opportunities that promote career growth, innovation, and leadership in healthcare technology.  Currently led by a small group of alumni, Abu-Saif Nessim, Council Chair; Adnan Lakdawala, Council Vice Chair; and Ashley Victor, Secretary, the council is excited to inspire lifelong learning, support professional development, and cultivate a network that advocates for the integration of technology and healthcare. The CHIP alumni network will support the advancement of health informatics, improve patient care, streamline healthcare systems, and promote data-driven decision-making for better healthcare delivery, access, and outcomes.

While the council is a small group of alumni, all CHIP alumni are welcome and encouraged to participate in activities. The council is in the early planning stages of initiatives such as mentorship opportunities, guest speaker events, networking programs, and other professional development activities. More information to come! Connect with the council at chipunc.cac@gmail.com to share your ideas or join!
